A local church is hosting a night of comedy for a good cause.
The Oklahoma City Improv will provide an evening of off-the-cuff hilarity on Firday, July 28 at Grace Church, 720 S. Yukon Parkway.
Mutts Amazing Hot Dogs and Coop Ale Works will serve dinner at 6:30 p.m. and Comedy for Compassion will begin at 7:15 p.m. Advance tickets are $10.50 at Graceyukon.com/comedy or $12.50 at the door.
The proceeds from the show will benefit Compassionate Hands, a non-profit organization which provides transportation, utility assistance and emergency shelter to the poor.
The organization uses volunteers and donated funds to transport anyone in Yukon to a destination within 30 miles.
